Cruising and day sailing are among the most relaxing and enjoyable of our Club’s activities. All cruising events are open to sail and power boaters plus members of other southwest Florida sailing clubs.
The goal is to get people out on the water to make new friends and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sailors. This year by introducing a formal Day Sailing program we plan to achieve this objective!
GCSC cruising events offer a variety of cruising opportunities. There are monthly activities such as raft-ups in Champney Bay, weekend cruises to Panther Key, Cayo Costa or longer cruises to the Keys. If you don’t own a boat, many events can be accessed via car. In addition, every effort is made to provide crewing opportunities. Schedules, locations, charts and other important details are all provided by the Fleet Captain, Cruising.
