The Heart of Racing in Southwest Florida. All classes of boats can join the racing excitement through our Club. Gulf Coast Sailing Club and sister clubs offer an active regatta program year-round. From the casual Tequila Racing in the summer months, to Ladies Day, to the Boat of the Year qualifying races between Marco Island, Naples, Cape Coral, Ft. Myers and Punta Gorda, we offer offshore, long distance, pursuit and buoy racing with appropriate PHRF ratings. For those interested in crewing, Skippers’ meetings are open to all Club members. The Notice of Race (NOR) and Sailing Instructions are well organized by the Fleet Captain - Racing and the Rear Commodore.

Southwest Florida Boat-of-the-Year Race Series
   SWFL-BOTY is a coveted annual award for the best racing skippers in Southwest Florida. This Corinthian sailing competition covers results from a minimum number of races in Naples of Marco Island designated as Boat of the Year. There are benefits for joining the race series including discounted entry fees, automatic entry in regattas, the BOTY trophy and of course the BOTY honor. 

  The SWFL BOTY race series is for committed skippers.  Sailors and boats in all classes are invited to share the honor of participating in the most prestigious award at the Gulf Coast Sailing Club, Make it your personal goal to achieve the honor!
