GCSC Powerboat Rental Excursion to 10,000 Islands : Gulf side beach and Keewaydin Island

WHEN: Saturday, May 4, Noon to 4pm

WHERE: Port 32 Marina Marco Island
                705 E. Elkcam Circle
                Marco Island, FL  34145

Note: Free parking at the marina.  Be SURE to go to Port32 Marco Island.
Port 32 has multiple locations.

WHAT: Two, new 21 foot Starcraft Deck boats, 150 hp.  A deck boat is easier to board than a Bowrider. So, our beach landing off-and-on boarding is easier.

I've reserved two (2) boats, with a total capacity of 8 people per boat (including skipper). John Steiner will skipper Boat 1 and Doug Foss will skipper Boat 2.

There are 14 passenger seats available for May 4.

RESERVATIONS:
If you want a seat, REGISTER HERE NOW OR CLICK THE IMAGE BELOW.

EXCURSION PLAN:  Depart Port 32 Marco Island at Noon on Saturday, May 4.
Transit out Marco Channel to the East side of Cannon Island, then through Johnson Bay to Channel Marker 44. Beach landing at Marker 44.  Short walk on a path through vegetation to the pristine Gulf side beach.
Spectacular views along the 7 mile long beach and good shelling.
 Picnic lunch on the beach.
Return to boats and go to Keewaydin Island for beach walk ---then return to Port32 by 4 pm

APPROXIMATE COST (all in): $70 per person.  Each person brings whatever he/she wants to eat and drink.  John Steiner reserved both boats for both days.  So please reimburse him the day of the sortie, preferably with cash, but Zelle is okay.

GEAR:  Bathing suits recommended for swimmers.  Hat, sunscreen, beach towel, sheets of toilet paper, plastic bags for shelling and trash.

Hope to see you onboard on May 4 (Saturday) at Noon to 4pm.

Sincerely,
John and Doug

NEXT STEPS: Additional details about planning for this outing will be sent after the passenger manifests are finalized.

It’s a beautiful world out there in the 10,000 Islands!

Cheers,
